A worker generates events to record its actions. The events are held in a folder inside the worker and are displayed on the worker screen. You can't view the folder because it automatically redirects back to the worker, but you can view individual event details by clicking on the event timestamp from the worker page, which will show (at a minimum) the timestamp for the event and description of the event.
The event will show you all the fields that have been populated. Clicking on Edit will show you all possible fields.
Event timestamp |
The point in time when the event took place. |
User name |
The user who created the event. |
Connection name |
If the event was created by a call from a partner, the name of the connection through which the call was made. |
Event type |
The type of event. This can be of the form "reference/Name", like the worker status. |
Description |
A description of the event. |
Attachments |
Attachments associated with the event. |
Status |
Status set at the same time as the event. This can be of the form "reference/Name". |
Events do not automatically track every activity, but are under the control of the process. They show what the process designer thinks would be useful to record and show the user, not everything that is going on.
