Description
The permission manifest manager creates and maintains permission manifests for other nodes.
The permission manifest manager acts as a package that contains manifest, each for different nodes. The manifests interpret tags on the nodes and use these to build manifests.
How to use the manifest manager
You do not need to create a manifest for every node. Instead, you should consider what nodes in your structure should be used to control the manifests. Typically these will be the "things" under management, which will have a structure underneath them. For example, if you were creating a survey application you might consider that each survey response needs a manifest and that the survey as a whole needs a manifest.
Make sure the things you want to manage have the Make permission manifest root field on their type.
Then create an instance of the manifest manager and make it available using the binding permissionManifestManager.
Execute the manifest manager with the action parameter set to refresh to refresh all the manifests.
As well as using the make permission manifest root field to add manifests automatically, you can add manifests manually using the Add manifest button. In the manifest, set the permission root to the node for which you want to create a manifest. Remember that the node will require a tag and matching rules for the manifest to be built.
