Site manager

When you install a MiniSite, a site manager will be installed within the site's settings area. To find this, click on Home, then Settings, then the name of your site, then Site Manager.

The site manager provides a listing of all the pages, images and other files in your site. It shows the full path, name, type and when the item was last modified. You can click on the column headings to sort the table, or use the filter to quickly find what you need to find.

The site manager provides buttons for maintaining the pages or other items.

  Edit the page.
  Copy the page.
Move the page to a different package and/or change its local reference.
  Delete the page.
  Create a new child page.
Upload an image or other file as a child of the page.
Create a new node of any type as child of the page. This lets you select or enter any node type. For example, you can select the Package type to create a package listing, or enter the reference library.aggregator.AggregatorPackageType to create a page which shows summaries of its child pages.

Set public permissions on the page. This gives you three options:

  • Private – Only people with administrator, contributor or read access can see the page.
  • Public page – Let public read the page, but not its child pages or files.
  • Public package – Let public read the page and all its child pages and files.

When you have made a page public, it will be shown in green on the site manager.

All the options return you to the site manager, except for the  button which returns you to the newly-created node.
