Objective

The interim review report summarises system governance progress and issues, as preparation for the interim review meeting.

When produced

The report is produced periodically though the year, at the start of the interim review.

Roles

The report is written by the system governance manager.

The report is circulated to the system governance committee as preparation for the interim review meeting.

The report is circulated to the system governance sponsor, for information.

Notes

This is a short, informal report.

Template

  1. Introduction

    Briefly introduce the report.

  2. Progress

    State how many assessments have been completed since the previous interim or annual review. Give the scores and changes in score for these assessments.

    State the current overall score across all systems.

  3. Issues

    Describe any issues that have been encountered, such as:

    • Unclear or ambiguous criteria.
    • Disputed assessments.
    • Requirements for new or changed criteria.

    Provide recommendations to address these issues.

  4. Discussion points

    List the points to be discussed. This will form a large part of the agenda for the interim review meeting.
